2 Data for webpage | Resume | Dr. Fengqi Si joined the School of Energy and Environment in 2001 after receiving his B.S. degree in Thermal Engineering and Ph.D. degree in Power Mechanical Engineering from Southeast University (SEU) in 1996 and 2001, respectively. He also was a visiting scholar at the Energy Research Center of Lehigh University from 2007 to 2008. In 2010, Prof. Si promoted to the assistant dean of the School of Energy and Environment. He has acted as the associate dean of the School of Energy and Environment and the associate director of the Key Laboratory of Energy Thermal Conversion and Control of Ministry of Education in SEU since 2011. Prof. Si has been a vice-director of the Automatic Control Branch in Chinese Society of Power Engineering, a member of Jiangsu Society of Engineering Thermophysics, and a member of the Automation and Computer Application Branch in Jiangsu Society of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include artificial intelligence techniques, instrumentation and control, optimization, and fault diagnosis in power industry. He is also actively working in the area of emissions control and performance improvement for the power industry.
