National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program) & National Science and Technology Pillar Program were also recognized as the national leading foundational research programs of China. As an excellent research institute of China, Energy and Environment School of Southeast University has made continual investigations in these two important foundational research programs in the past years as well.
Our school has undertaken 14 of the major programs from National High-tech R&D Program of China in the past 8 years, which is also known as the 863 Program. These major 863 programs are leading by well known professors of our school, including Prof. Xiong Yuanquan, Prof. Lv Xiwu, Prof Zhang Xiaosong and etc. Besides, we also have a series of key program and sub program s from the National High-tech R&D Program of China.
National Science and Technology Pillar Program is another important investigation field of our school. During the last 5 years, Energy and Environment School has undertaken 6 major programs of the National Science and Technology Pillar Program, which were leading by well known professors such as Prof. Lv Xiwu, Prof Zhang Xiaosong and etc. A larger number of sub programs from National High-tech R&D Program of China were also undertaken by the younger researchers of our school.
These programs have related to a comprehensive research fields of the energy and environment investigation.
