Discipline:Heating, Gas Supplying, Ventilating and Air conditioning Engineering

Training Objectives
The students will grasp basic theory and Professional ability on Heating, Gas Supply, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Engineering. The students will have systematic and thorough expertise, become specialized in experimental techniques used in his/her research areas, and be capable of conducting independent research in scientific fields. The students graduated with a Master degree are competent for the scientific research, technological development and teaching. The graduated students will be proficient in one kind of foreign languages.
Training Period
Generally, the students are expected to graduate in 2 to 3 years, longest may delay for 4 years.
Credit Requirements and Curriculum (see attached list)
Confirmation Report
The confirmation report is required to be complete within the third semester and get approved by 3-5 related experts. Students can apply for the thesis defense at least a half year after the confirmation.
Mid-term Assessment
The mid-term assessment is held in the third semester. According to the gained credits and confirmation report, the mid-term assessment needs to be scored abide by relevant provisions of graduate school.
Thesis

Literature Reading (for reference only, the same below)
Students are required to read at least 30 literatures on topics related to their thesis and research direction including 10 literatures in foreign languages and to write a literature overview.
Thesis Writing
In addition to compliance with the provisions of school, thesis must be written in a systematic and complete manner, presenting clear concepts, correct argument, realistic description, concise writing structure, smooth and concise writing style, correct calculation, reliable data, and clear icons.
Thesis Evaluation
Thesis should be written based on students’ own study and research. The findings presented in the thesis should have higher academic value and positive impact on economic development of

Note:
(1) The minimum total-credit requirements of Master's curricula: 28 credits. The minimum credit requirements of degree courses: 16 credits; other credits in non-degree courses. In addition, students should have 3 credits from compulsory courses.
(2) All courses are normally required to complete within one and half year after registration. Degree courses are normally required to complete within one year after registration.
(3) Degree courses are subject to this course plan, non-degree courses can be chosen from “Graduate Courses Catalog”.
